A witch’s belongings. These things belonged to my great great great aunt who was a witch. Those playing cards were used for divining, the Railroad Timekeeper contains her handwritten spells. Two books published by The Brotherhood of The Illuminati. A tiny beat up bible. Some mormon pamphlets and a few newspaper clippings. All kept in an old cigar box. Thank you Aunt Lou.

Everybody seems curious about the Mormon pamphlets and the bible. What I have gathered from reading her spell book, she has combined Christianity/Mormonism with Voodoo (or something similar) to control spirits. Each of her spells is about getting spirits to do her bidding. Every spell ends with “In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I also wanted to point out that these things are over 100 years old and she was obviously thinking differently than the average person (espescially a woman!) and this very well could have fuled her curiosity into the fairly new Mormon religion.
